NFC business cards and Samsung phones
Every Galaxy phone since the S6 supports NFC business cards.
Samsung has shipped NFC in every Galaxy S, Note, mid-range-and-up A-series, and Z-series phone since 2015. If you're holding a Galaxy S6 or newer, an A-series from 2018 onward, or any Z Fold/Flip, tapping a SmartCard opens the profile with no setup.
NFC is on by default on most Galaxy phones, but if a tap doesn't register, check Settings > Connections > NFC and contactless payments and confirm it's switched on.
Very old or ultra-budget Galaxy J-series phones may not have NFC hardware at all — those recipients can still scan the QR code printed on the card instead.
QR backup on every card
No NFC, or NFC switched off? Every SmartCard has a printed QR code that opens the exact same profile through any phone's camera.
Tap to share — no app needed
