Is an NFC business card safe to use?

An NFC business card is a passive chip that stores a single link. When someone taps it, their phone opens that link in a browser — the chip itself doesn't hold your bank login, your passwords, or anything beyond what you've deliberately added to your SmartCard profile.
There's no always-on transmission, no Bluetooth-style background broadcasting, and no way for the card to be read from more than a few centimeters away. It only activates the instant a phone is held directly against it.
You control exactly what's visible — your Business Card mode shows your contact details, your Payment Info mode shows only what you add there, and you can update or remove information any time from app.smartcards.ng.
